Welcome to Eastlands Junior School
On behalf of the staff, governors and children, I am delighted to welcome you to Eastlands Junior School and to our website.
We are proud to be a warm, inclusive and welcoming school where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their very best. We are committed to ensuring that all children feel happy, safe and supported, enabling them to grow in confidence and reach their full potential during their time with us.
At Eastlands Junior School, we believe that strong relationships with our children, families and the wider community are key to success. As part of The Welbeck Federation, we work closely with our partner school to place the Federation at the heart of the community. Through this shared approach, we are able to provide rich opportunities and experiences for all our pupils.
The Welbeck Federation brings two schools together on a shared journey to success. Leadership is unified across both schools, and our staff work collaboratively to ensure a seamless transition for children as they move from the Infant School through to the end of Year 6. This ensures continuity, consistency and the very best support for every child.
We are passionate about fostering a love of learning and supporting children to become independent, motivated and resilient learners. Our aim is for every child to make strong progress, achieve well and enjoy their time at school. We provide a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to challenge themselves, think critically and develop a curiosity about the world around them.
We place children at the heart of everything we do. We want them to leave us not only with strong academic foundations, but also with the confidence, independence and aspiration to succeed in the next stage of their education and beyond.
