On behalf of the staff, governors and children, I am delighted to welcome you to Netherfield Infant School and to our website.

At Netherfield Infant School, we believe that building strong relationships with our children, families and the wider community is key to success. As part of The Welbeck Federation, we are working closely with our partner school to place the Federation firmly at the heart of the community. By working together, we can provide the very best opportunities and experiences for all our children.

The Welbeck Federation brings two schools together on a shared journey to success. Leadership is unified across both schools, and our staff work collaboratively to ensure that every child is supported from their first steps in Nursery through to the end of Year 6, enabling them to grow into confident, capable and caring individuals.

We are passionate about creating a love of learning from the very start. Our aim is to ensure that every child makes strong progress, achieves well and enjoys coming to school each day. We provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel confident to explore, take on new challenges and develop as independent, curious learners.

We place children at the heart of everything we do. We want them to leave us not only with strong academic foundations, but also with the confidence, resilience and enthusiasm to succeed in the next stage of their education and beyond.
