Reading

Please make sure your child brings their book bag every day.

On a Monday your child will receive a decodable book at their reading level which we would like them to read with you each day. On a Friday your child will receive a guided reading book which we will have read all week in school and this is at a level appropriate for their age. Your child will also bring home a story book of their choosing for you to share together.

It is really important that you read with you child at home. Please sign the reading diary to show your child has read. We have a 'Reading Mileage' challenge in school and there are certificates and prizes for children who read regularly at home.

PE

PE days are Monday and Friday.

PE kit is a white t-shirt, black shorts, joggers or leggings and black plimsolls.

We are now getting changed into our PE kit at school so you will need to bring your kit in a bag. You can leave your PE bag on your peg for the week.

Please ensure ALL school clothes and PE kit is named.

Curriculum

This half term we will be learning about Grace Darling.

Please see the topic plan below for more information about our learning and for ways you can support your child at home.
